anyone install the repro covers? tell me about them thanx

I recovered my bench seat and when I was finished (did it twice!) I realized that the headrests would need new covers as well. The only problem I remember was that I had to be very careful putting them on because the headrest was bigger than the cover opening. Had to slide them on from one side to the other. But I got them on OK. I had removed the originals (saved the staples and plastic trim at the post), repainted the plastic trim, installed the new covers with the original staples and trim. They came out great.

I covered mine in my 69. It is not as the origianl since they were plastic over foam core. In my case if you want the original look you have to buy the whole head rest. I continue to have problems with wrinkles along the sides.
