I have purchased a pair of bucket seats that need the works. Is it more cost effective to purchase the foam and upholstery from a place like OPG and have it professionally installed or have a profesional sew the upholstery from scratch?

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks- Rob

I wondered about that myself with the headliner in my El Camino. The one it had was custom made with smooth vinyl instead of the factory perforated and it fit and looked great, I liked the pattern better. My lower bench seat cover was custom made too, and this is a '70 with the basketweave pattern mixed in, unlike your '67. If you had yours custom upholstered it'd probably turn out great. If the reproduction upholstery is anything like their replacement parts, I'd definitely go with custom made.
