I've got a complete set of what I think are 1969 black seat belts. I got these quite a while ago and cannot remember if these were for a Malibu or Impala.

Is there any way to discern if they are truly 1969 vintage?

Is there any way to tell Chevelle belts from Impala belts? Or as some folks have told me, the belts are the same between Chevelles and Impalas?

My '69 belts (SS396) have code dates on the white tags near the mount end. They show month and year of mfg.

I Have belts from an Impala in my '72 El Camino and they look about right but I think that they are just a bit longer than the Chevelle belts. It is not a big deal because they are adjustable. The end of the belt is in a different spot on the shoulder belt than it is on my '72 two-door.
