Rebuilding a 350 in a 72 malibu and need some recommendation on a cam. The plan is to put on a 4bbl carb and headers. This will be a daily driver. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would talk to some of cam experts at Jegs, Summit, or PAW and tell them the specifics of your car. Auto tranny, Stall speed, rear end gears, and other specifics. If you go to large with it you may run into valve spring bind. The last issue of Hot Rod had some good build ups of a 350 for the street with detailed cam specs and performance.
Good luck.

Whittaker is right but don't call Summit or Jegs call the cam guys themselves like Crane, Lunati, etc. The worst thing you can do is overcam the car. I'm more of a rat guy these days, but I think if you stay below 230 degress of duration @ 0.050 and .475 lift, you'll be ok with stock heads. This type of cam will run between 2 and high 5's ( like 5800 or so ). If you have gears and a slippery converter you can move the duration up a freckle and get something that pulls to 6-6300.
