I am considering putting a floor shifter for my Turbo 400, but I am not sure if I want to destroy the integrity of my SS, by cutting a hole in the tunnel. I put a quicksilver into the factory console on my 70, so I can race it without worrying about missing a shift..and if its any consolation its only 4 mounting bolts, and one 1" hole for the cable..easy to weld up later if your worried about it.
