NOw that my car is on the road everyday, my mother especially, and i would like something safer than the stock belts.
i have Corbeau sport seats, car was bucket seat stock, console and it has shoulder belts. wether it be a retracting 3 point, or a 4 point... i need something better that wont be a bastard to install.
let me know what you got.

Jutny use the search button I know its not too [H]ard is it? There are a ton of post about the retactable seat belt installs. I know that BB_Mike uses the 3 point ones and its a nice install.

Tell your Mom there is nothing wrong with the stock belt set-up in your Chevelle. if you wear BOTH the lap belt AND the shoulder harness, you'll be fine. Just be sure that the belts aren't worn and that the floor connections are solid. Check each buckle for proper operation. Remember, use BOTH the lap belt AND the shoulder harness and you'll be fine. I've driven my Chevelle for the last 32 years and over a half million miles with those belts, and they've kept me secure on a number of occasions.

I did the same and used Andover's 3pt. I agree with Jerry that the stock setup is pretty safe, my webbing just looked way used up, and my shoulder belts were long gone.
I've got the same seats as you with a bunch o pictures on my site with them and the belts.
