Currently I have a small block in a 1964 Chevelle and I am putting a big block in the car. Do I need new frame motor mounts or will the small block mounts work? Do I leave them in the same position on the frame? Please help.
They are the same you should have no problems.Just use big block moter mounts.

With 1966/1967 Chevelles, the small block mount is different. The big block engine could be installed with small block motor mounts (in the same location), or solid mounts, but bigblock mounts on the engine side will not set low enough to put the through-bolt into place. This is due to a safety feature of the bigblock motormounts.

Dean,
I went to the site and it says this is for 66-67 Chevelles, will I need it for my 64 Chevelle? Thanks for all the help.
