I am in the process of putting the glide back in the chevelle. How many quarts of transmission fluid does it hold? Thanks

Philip Aug 6th, 99, 11:28 AM I think around 9-12 qts depending on the size of the convertor and oil pan. Put in 4, start the engine and immediatly add fluid till it is about a quart low. After it is warmed up you can top it off.
