I have a '72 Fisher body manual that has an overall wiring diagram of my car with 17 total wiring harnesses. But there are only detail diagrams of 2 or 3 harnesses.

Are they any books or manuals that have complete car diagrams? The kind that detail every wire color and size throughout the entire car.

Jeff, I found a wealth of info at the public library.they had wiring diagrams for cars and trucks going back to the fiftys,shows all the colors of each wire,even the type of connectors that were used.Was pure accident that I found them, just happened to be in there one day and passed by the auto repair section,blew me away when I saw all the wiring diagrams.I quickly made some copys for my 69,saved my a## many times when I rewired my car(It had a fire under the hood and interior when I got it) Might be worth checking out

The '72 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual has detailed circuit diagrams. For some reason, the '72 Factory Assembly Manual does not. Service Manual reprints can be obtained from:

Turbodave's tip on the public library is one I wish everybody would know!

Here in L.A., you may have to ask if there is a certain library that has a better selection, but it's well worth hunting down.
