Hello again everyone, I have another question for you all. I just bought a pair of bucket seats for my 70 Chevelle (to replace a bench seat). The guy I bought them from says that they are from a 68 or 69 Chevelle. After I bought them I looked at some bucket seats out of 70 and 67 Chevelles. To me they look more like the ones out of a 67 but he still says that they are 68-69. It really does not matter to me if they are 67 or 68-72, I just want to know because I want to order the material to recover them and I want to get the right package. Is there anyway that I can identify for sure what year these came out of? Thank you in advance.

67 will have a side release button for folding the seat, and the seat back panel will be made of metal. 68 is the same but with a plastic seat back. 69-72 have the release button in the center of the seat back panel. You are also probably not going to have headrests if they are 67-68 seats.

Hi,
I have a pair of 67 GM A-Body seats.
Does what you have look like these?

If so, I don't think they will "bolt right up" to your seat bolt holes. graemlins/clonk.gif

Thank you so much for the help. I did not pick up the seats yet, but I know that they do not have the center release button. Now I can order the material..... graemlins/hurray.gif
