On my '68 2 door, I have 5 "bowes" that span across the top and pop into one of 3 holes. These are about 1/8" diameter.

The question is there also a smaller diameter wire that runs across underneath the dome light. Is this considered a "bowe" as well? That would make the difference between a 5 bow and 6 bow headliner to order.

Maybe the 6 bow headliner is for a 4dr.

Guess I'll answer my own question, maybe it will help someone else.

The smaller diameter rod that runs right in front of the dome light is considered a bow.

Between talking to PUI (they gave me the spacing measurements for both types, 5 & 6 bow), and then speaking to local upholsterer, I found that indeed it was a bow.

PUI very understanding, authorized a return and is sending me the 6 bow.
