I'm currently working on the interior of my 69 and was wondering if it would be suggested to stay with one resto company or if its ok to mix up the soup a little bit? I mean, is it alright or inadvisable to say buy the carpet from one place and the headliner from another? Most of my consern lies with color matching. Are there distinct variances between the color shades of different companies? Thanks for the advise, Lou.

Lou,

This doesn't really answer your question but if you have to replace most or all of your interior, it is cheaper to buy it as a kit.

Just thought I'd mention it.

The factory that makes the carpet probably does not make the headliner anyway.
