OPG currently showing sale on "Complete Door Panel Restoration Kit". If it includes what is shown in picture, probably saves a few dollars overall.
Has anyone used their panels lately?
After all the posts, I'm definitely going "preassembled". Did OPG's have metal top rail? Was quality as desired? Ground Up states thiers are PUI and metal top rail.
Any thoughts/experiences?

Flye,
I used OPG "unassembled" about 5-6 yers ago. I was very satisfied at the time... but alot of work. At that time "assembled" panels had a plastic top rail. It is my understanding that they are now using metal top rails. If so I would reccomend preassembled panels for sure. Just call and ask for details before making your purchase.

I had OPG panels in my 67 and i replaced them with PUI ones. The lines in the pattern were much sharper and overall construction i think was better. the opg panels weren't bad, just not as nice as the pui's again this is on a 67 so maybe it doesn't apply to you

We installed the TWE Panels (Metal Top Rail w/Window Felts) from Greenwood Chevrolet, and they look and fit "AWESOME".
Now having said that, a significant number of Team Members on this very site swear (Sorry Guys and Gals for the wording) by the PUI Panels, and others the OPG Panels, and others by......................
Anyway, you get the idea, yours and ours and others are "AWESOME".
If you need to decide, go into the "Search" area(s) on this site, and you will find every idea and answer to your question(s).
