I am wanting to get rid of the bench seat in our '69 for various reasons and would like to replace it with a set of racing style bucket seats. I have looked at just about every imaginable style from fixed back Kirbey foam/alum. ones to reclinable Recaro style seats. I am not as concerned about over all comfort (I don't drive the car very far anyway) as much as keeping the quality to price reasonable, and weight down. What are some seats that people have installed out there, that have worked well and were not a nightmare to put in? I would like to try and keep the price at no more than 250.00 a seat.

I would go look around some junkyards at late model cars. Some of them, especially imports, have really nice seats in them. Click on my signature link and check out the seats I found.
