i just bout my dream car a 71 ss 454 chevelle. black wit red racing stripes aw it makes me drool anyways. i am 17 an aspireing mechanic. i love old cars. i am in need of a console for my chevelle to complete the ss cloneing operation. i have a indy shifter mounted to a m21 in the floor of course. what am i goin to need to put a console in it. will the shifter be compatable wit the hole in my console. does anyone ahve a good idea of where to get a good un at a reasonalble price my money is kinda thin while i'm in school. thanks a ton.

You could try swap meets or one of the parts venders. They offer a complete kit for around 300. Used ive seen them go for 250 painted and ready to drop in. Try the ads on this site also.
