I recently bought a 72 El Camino. It has a bench seat now. Ive had a set of 67 buckets in storage for a while now. What problems will I have installing these? Isnt there a difference between the 67 and older seats and the 68 newer seats mounting tracks?

In 67 there's a difference just between the bench and bucket seat mounting. I'm not a '72 guru, but I'd imagine they won't "bolt in" but mounting brackets shouldn't be too hard to make.

There is one problem. When you bolt a set of 66 or 67 buckets in a 68 and later car, the seats will not be level. They will be lower on one side which will require you to fabricate shims in order to level them.
