HI there, I think the dash in my '70 was replaced with a 71 or 72. There is a "fasten seat belts" light in it and I dont think they had this in '70. Am i correct? Is there any way to disguise this and have it look OK? It's things like this that drive me nuts! :mad: I hate to pay 3 bills for a new dash just to remove this thing! Thanks

Is it a Monte Carlo woodgrain dash by any chance? I got rid of my seatbelt light simply by replacing the woodgrain overlay with one from an earlier model car. You are correct about the 72 model year featuring the seatbelt warning light. Your 70 model should not have one.

Nope, its the black pebble grain. I have a feeling that anything I do will look worse than just leaving it alone.
