1) Can anyone tell me where I can get the correct hardware to assemble my 4 speed console from my 66 that is in pieces with out the hardware?

2)Is there a metal clip type deal that the screws screw into? (particularly were the shifter boot retainer mounts and hinge for console door)

I have never seen any kit or specific pieces for the console...

For the screws, the ones I've seen just screw directly into the plastic...

Maybe buy some "j-nut" type fasteners from a hardware/automotive store, but probably need to be altered to fit (the plastic can be thick)... 6these are used for the mounting brackets on the floor too...

The main assembly is with "speed" nuts, like the emblems and some trim use... try a bodyshop supply store or some regular parts stores...
