I want to install shoulder/seat belts in my '67 Elcamino. Can they be hooked up the same as a '67 Chevelle convertible. I'm open to any ideas but not to wild about installing a roll bar or 4pt harness.

Cardiac, Just recently there was a thread on shoulder belts in a '67 Chevelle in which one post stated that the mount for the shoulder belt was in place, but hidden behind the headliner material. I do not know if shoulder belts were an option in the ElCamino in '67, but it seems that the other Chevelles had it available. There may be hope for you to use a regular set of belts in your car.

I'll soon find out about the bracket. I don't believe it's there and I'll burn the paint if I weld them on. The convertibles must of had them mounted low?
