sheetmetal Aug 9th, 03, 4:41 PM i am going to remove the bench seat in my 67 and install buckets. I suppose i need the inside brackets for this? it also says i must relocate the out side mounting holes inboard 3/4 "so the seat belt retactores will work. does anyone have any experiance with this? ideas or pointers please? thanks Dave rendrikat Aug 10th, 03, 11:05 AM I just recently did my 66 el camino, all as I did was place the bucket seats in place, I moved them over one hole {inward} using the holes where the bench seats were. I atttached the new mounting brackets to the seats and then just tacked them down, remove seats and the welded the brackets in place.
