Hi, guys.
My background is with '70 SS's but I just bought a really nice '66 SS that has no seat belts. It is a bucket-seat car.
Can someone tell me what seat-belts are correct for the car and what other years are interchangeable, if any? Would it have a choice of deluxe or standard like the '70?
Thanks in advance.

You could have standard or Custom Deluxe seat belts. I don't think they will interchange with newer years due to size (at least not 'correctly'). The 66 were pretty big.
Seems to me I have a set of Custom Deluxe for a 66 in blue. Not sure where though.... They even have the 'hair curler' retractors on them.
Thanks for the reply, Al. I had forgotten about the hair-curler retractors!

I had a 66 4 door hard top Malibu. It had the color coded belts with the hair curler retractors. The buckles were very square stainless steel (maybe chrome) with the Fisher carriage on a black button. The retractors had no case around them.
My 67 SS with buckets has similar belts, but the buckles have a color coded plastic housing and a GM button. The retractors have a plastic case over them. The inner fronts have bent rubber boots over them were they mount to the floor.

I like that catalog. There's not a lot of crap...just pictures of parts. Now we'll see how the prices are.....
