Recntly purchased a chevelle with aftermarket tinted windows. What is the best way to remove this without leaving the windows sticky? Thanks in advance.

Spay the glass with window cleaner that has ammonia in it then scrap with a razor blade.

If it's the window film type, peel it off, then do what jugg said. It will come off fairly easy.

As Jugg68 said, spray the window with Ammonia or Ammonia based cleaner (straight ammonia or diluted ammonia seemed to work best for me). After the window has been coated with the ammonia, take a disposable garbage bag and cover the glass. The ammonia will hold the plastic garbage bag on the film/glass. Wait 15-20 minutes and peel the film off easily with a razor. Works great.

After pulling the film off, you can pretty much use a mixture of any type of soap dish and water. Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes, then scrape it off with a razor blade, it should come off very easily.
