Howdy, My gas pedal came off some time ago and as I get all the parts together, what I can't seem to figure out is how the pin through the pedal assembly stays in there, Is there a cotter pin or something similar? Or does it just snap in? What am I missing? Thanks, Brad

There is a spring in the middle of the pin that holds the pedal up. It rests in the grove that is in the center of the pin and assist in retaining it.
