I currently have the grandma-style sweep dash w/ idiot lights on my column shift car. I'm going to be switching to floor shift + gauges, and using this car for street/strip when all's said and done. I'd like to pick up an SS dash, but correct clusters in any decent shape easily cost $350+, and the speedometer doesn't go high enough on them for my taste, anyway. I think the overall dash appearance is nice though, and "correct enough" for my taste, and will look close enough to stock that it won't take away from the classic appearance of the car.

I'm curious how many of you are using aftermarket gauges in SS dashes, how you feel about the results, and the costs and problems you've encountered along the way. Pictures are always nice too, if you got 'em. Thanks a lot!

Edit: It's a 70, I forgot to mention.

It has been done and there were pictures in this forum about four or five months ago. But since that time, Al made some upgrades to the site and I'm not sure if those pictures still exist.
