Hi, I saw an old show on TNN called 'Crank & Chrome' they were building a shelby cobra. For a steering wheel they used an anti-theft steering wheel that which the key you can disengage it (not remove it, just disengage the gears) from the colum so the wheel would spin freely. This is NOT the commonly seen Grant one that removes and you can put it in the trunk. This seems to me to be one of the least cumbersome anti-theft device other than a lojack or something like that. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

Thanks

Bump! Hasn't anyone seen anything like this? It seems to me a sweet way to protect your ride!

At the time the show orginaly aired about two years ago, they didn't have a version that would allow you to use your orginal chevy wheel. Only an aftermarket wheel with the aftermarket adapter. I can't remember the name of the wheel company. I called the company and the owner said that they were working to come out with a differend adapter to fit SOME orginal wheels.
I didn't follow up.
