after getting a new glovebox bezel for my 66, i realized it doesnt fit right and the chrome line is kinda chewed up, so im gonna fix up my original ones, the inside black piece is perfect, but the chrome around the outside is all faded and no longer shiny,

what are my options to regain the orginal chrome look?? im thinkin clean, sand, and repaint? but ive also seen people sending it off to be rechromed??

You can't get chrome like that out of a can. You will have to send it to the plastic chromers. I used American Plastic Chrome but I've read that their out of business now. I don't know who to use now...........somebody got the answer?
