I have a 70 chevelle ss 454 and my dash is in pretty bad shape and we thought ab getting an replacement, but we have heard that they don't fit well. Is their any where i canh get my orginal dahs reconditioned. If so is their any one who does it in pa.

i'll look in to that, T the northern chevelle gathering i takked to chuck hanson ab getting my dash redone he told me a name of a guy in pa that he recommends. but i don't rember the name chuck told me and i donn how to get intouch with chuck

Have you considered doing this yourself? Its not difficult just time consuming. If you want, drop me an email. I can send you some before and after pictures as well as an article I wrote on the steps of restoration.
If you don't want to do this yourself, I would consider doing it for you. I have done two Malibu dashes to date. Let me know either way.

I put one of the repro dashes in my 70. It fit pretty well, I had no major issues that I could not deal with when installing it. The only thing different on the repops is the fact that the silver outlines are done in paint as opposed to being actual chrome.
