Guys,
I need help with this one. I have a 65 elky with factory air. I want to use a 64 dash insert [flat] in order to do a custom insert. Will the 64 dash A/C vent outlet line up with the 65? Both dash inserts in question are factory A/C units. Thanx Bob Myers NC

No Problem Bob! I have a 1964 el camino and it had a '65 dash insert in it when I got it.
I have since put in the correct '64 insert with A/C vent being on both of them.
Be careful about the ground on those dash inserts,they will wreck havoc with everything electrical.-Dan

thanx , Dan, that`s the news I was hoping to hear. I will now go ahead with my 64 dash with a custom guage panel.I`m going to use a set of auto meter speedo, tach, water temp, fuel level, volt meter, and oil press. I have a friend who is going to make vinyl bow ties for the panel much like the dash insert on a 55 chev bel air. thanx again, bob Myers NC
