i have a set of what appears to be 70s chevy bucket seat but im not sure if they are for my 71 chevelle. The floor mounting brackets on the out sides of the seat are about 2 or 3 inches taller than the brackets on the inside. I think i need the brackets to convert bench seats to buckets but i dont think this will fix the height difference. does anyone no what these seats fit and is there some way to correct this with a factory apperance. they come out of a 70 impala but because of a wood spacer under the short side im sure this was not the origanal seat for that impala . thanks

i had a pair of these for my 70 as well no one knew what they were out of mabey a sepcial order truck of a sort becasue they are much taller than the seats would normally sit. you ahve to get new seat tracks for these to mount properly but i found that getting the seats reaupolsterd and new tracks was gonna cost alot more than it was worth.
