I have switched out my bench seat for buckets. The problem that I have is that the bucket seat is too close to the seat belt retractor, it is right up against it. The seat belts are out of a bucket seat car. Is it supposed to be this close? If not, then what am I doing wrong?

Which factory bolt hole in the rear are you using to bolt the seat bracket to? Should be the inner hole.

That was the problem, I assumed that since the bucket seat bracket had two holes and the floor also had two that I had to use all of them. thanks
