Did all 70 SS come with hood pins?

Hood pins were standard on all cowl-induction cars, as was striping for '70. Cowl induction was optional however, and SS cars without the cowl-induction hood didn't come with the striping or hood pins as standard. They were optional.

I believe SS stripes were only "required" on Cowl Induction cars. fairly certain that on standard SS hood cars, the stripes were either an extra-cost option, or deleteable.

I know that the stripe "delete" on cowl hood was an option but I don't know exactly how it worked. I special ordered a 72 Concours wagon with ALL the good stuff, BB, 4sp, pwr, ac, posi, luggage rack on roof AND cowl induction. It was delivered WITHOUT stripes. Ex-b*&ch-wife got it in 75 and let it go to rust and ruin and wrecked twice. My younger son got it 2yrs ago and we found a nice plain 71 and cloned a SS454 4sp with everything we could salvage from the wagon. Got a personalized tag for it, "4SP RAT".

Alex, the answer is "No". My 70 SS396 has the stripes but did not have hood pins (until last month - they're easy to install and they look mean!)
