I have a problem with the glass in my driver's side door. It won't lean in far enough to seal against the gasket on the top, front of car, or against the quarter glass gasket. All other glass seals fine. I took my door panel off and tried to remove the little side adjustment bumpers (as they were as far toward the inside they would go). I realized those weren't even the problem, in fact the glass wasn't even touching one of the bumpers. I then thought maybe the glass was torqued down too tight against the window hardware and causing it to stand up straighter than it should, so I loosened those bolts, to no affect. Any suggestions? Not only does the glass look tacky (you can clearly tell from the outside it isn't even making contact with the quarter-glass gasket), it easily allows water to get in the car. Thanks.

HAVE I GOT THE ANSWER FOR YOU!
1st make sure the door "hangs " right
2nd look under the "door"
there you will see a threaded bolt and a nut.
This is where your problem lies.
undo the nut, push the threaded bolt towards
the out side of door.this will "tilt" the glass
"inward" to hit the rubbers on the car.

Thanks 442(name?). I've been waiting for someone to answer this one because I'm having the very same problem. And thanks also for answering my carpet question earlier. Happy New Year, Dennis

I undid the nut and lo and behold, it's as far toward the outside of the door as it will go! Any other suggestions? Or should I maybe get out my dremel tool and make a bigger area for the thing to slide...
Thanks for your help.

Get yourself a copy of the Fisher Body Manual...it details out the exact procedure for adjusting the windows.
