Guys I was wonder about this green bulb thing in my doner 70 heater controls. I baught the white lettering but I'm thinking now that I will have to change the green bulb to a white one. Anyone been through this before?

hilljack, The lettering on the 70 panel its self is tinted green& the 71-72 are tinted white. The bulb is just a natural clear bulb. You can check out your local auto store for tinted bulbs,I know they make them for the import cars. Off hand I don't remember what size the bulb is,but you can remove it from your panel & check. good luck, Jim

I did replace the panel with the white lettering but i noticed behind the chrome there is a green globe that the light bulb is inserted into.

I was thinking this should be a white globe. it looks the entire panel is like a fiber cable almost. The side of the panel near the light has a 45 degree bevel to absorb light, I think.
