How do u remove the headlight switch on a 69 chevelle is it like the cigarate lighter and has a screw on back to hold it on there?

Pull the knob to the "lights on" position. Reach up under the dash and locate the light switch. On the left side of the switch, in front of the electrical connection, you will find a small sping loaded button (about 1/8 inch in diameter). Depress this button and while holding in the depressed position, pull gently on the headlamp knob. The knob will come out. Now you have access from the cockpit side of the dash, to the nut retaining the switch itself to the dash bezel. Remove said nut and the switch is free from the dash. Remove the wire connection and you're done.
