I am buying some quarter window weather stripping and the quarter window vertical chrome. Is this hard to install? Any tips? Thanks, John by the way, i ordered it from OPG..I hope the quality is good..

The weatherstripping just slides into the vertical chrome. There should be a little upward facing prong on the chrome piece that prevents the weatherstripping from sliding back down. Most repops don't have it, so you may have to use some weatherstrip adhesive. Go to your local Auto glass shop and get several thicknesses of "butyl tape". You want it to fit very snug, tapping it on with a wood block and hammer. Use a little mineral spirits for lubricant. A little messy, but cleans right up. Then just trim with a razor blade. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

If the vertical chromes don't fit the contour of the glass, you'll have problems. Gms are still available but cost alot.
