Looking for easy way to make the stainless trim on my 71 look like chrome again. Thanx===========Craig

A metal polishing kit is the best way to go. You can make all the stainless look like new. Most of the larger home improvement/hardware stores sell the buffing wheels and rouge. It has to come off, so I don't know if this is the easy way, but it works.

Go down to the local hardware store & get some #0000 steel wool. Use this on stainless & chrome & enjoy the shine you get per amount of elbow grease!

If you really want them to shine you'll need to pop them off and bring them over to your bench grinder's buffing wheel that you installed just for this purpose. Just be careful to hold on to them securely as I have discovered the smaller pieces to make excellent projectiles.
