I figured this topic would have been covered in past discussions and was wondering where I might find information on how to remove the clock and then where to send it for repair. Also call James Hinshaw at Hinshaws Chevelle Parts, 336-226-8242. He can steer you towards a solution. I believe it is a waste to try to repair the clock, they just replace the guts. So maybe your idea is not that bad, but you know how us Chevy guys are - if it's there we need to fix it, paint it, or tune it to go faster. I'll see if the little bugger works first. I bet it doesn't. I deliberately bought a 2 5/8" vaccum guage so I had the option of it fitting nicely in the clocks housing. Honestly, the only times I'm interested in are 60 ft., 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile ! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif Also, that blinker tack sucks when it comes to racing. It's hard to see and only has 200 rpm increments. Plus I have the 325 HP one which redlines at 5500. Yeah right!
