hey guys

hey my dash face plate for my 68 chevelle is cracked, and i was wondeirng if their is anythign i can do about it. Where can i look for one, or somethign like that, cause i know year one doens't have it, thanks for the help guys

What is cracked the entire dash bezel or just the part that says chevelle or???

If it is just cracked and you have all the pieces, it can usually be fixed. Put the pieces together and then "weld" the pieces together by melting them together on the backside, where it doesn't show. A electric soldering iron or butane torch with a small broad tip works the best. You can add filler plastic if you have some scrap plastic of the same type as the bezel. For additional strength, you can epoxy a reinforcing piece of plastic on the back if there is the space for it. If you need a complete replacement bezel, the "parts for sale" section of this forum or Ebay is a good place to look.
