Alright ... so SO many brands! I found a super nice set of Corbaeu seats that are like $359 EACH plus the mounting brackets. Which is closing the 8 or 900 mark after accesories and tax. Lots of seats on Ebay, APC? Seems like a cheaper brand I dont know, I definately want the access for a belt harness and I dont dig the fixed setting ones, meaning.. I want them to recline! I found a new brand called DAD (dynamic auto design and they look like good quality, 435 for a set with mountings, they sell those at an online place... check them out http://www.ketronsales.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_22/products_id/30 but sparco, and Corbaeu seem like a nicer choice... I dont know... maybe send some pictures , and links and feedback of what everyone is driving on! Thanks ! -Phil graemlins/hurray.gif

What size are you? That makes a big difference with a lot of these seats. Do you drive your car everyday? Some of these seats really envelop you and are not hugely comfortable for long periods.
A seat I have experience with in ZR-1 Corvettes is the Corbeau Forza II. I'm 5'9" and 215lbs & that seat is a snug fit for me.

yeah im 5' 7 and 140's kinda small! but yeah they are going to be for almost everyday driving, I have the full/ split bench now and I need buckets bad! Hot black sticky vinyl, plus its easy to slide around a little on the bench seats.

Pep Boys has seats that are REALLY close looking to the seats your looking at. And they are $179.99- they even have those slits for the racing seat belts in them! I couldnt believe it when I saw it, but thats the cost. They are a cloth material- they have another that is $229.99 each that is a leather type material. For the money, I think they are really pretty nice seats. THey are more for imports etc. so you'd have to build some type of mount for them. But for that price, and they look pretty good....

I have the Corbau GTS II seats, they are a bit firm but they are SUPER comfortable once you are in them. I drive my car every day, get in & out and they are just nice. Some of the other corbau's don't recline (CAN'T HAVE THAT!! smile.gif ) and some have so much side bolstering that its not easy to get in & out.

I highly recommend there brackets, only took a small modification of making there square holes round to match up to there seat, fit the floor perfectly go figure? The brackets keep the seat nice & low like the factory seats, doesn't feel like you are riding in a truck.

After numerous attempts i won a bid on some blue Recaro LX seats of E-Bay and i am glad i did. There an older set with the mesh headrests but they have been in storage since new and are perfect. Nice thing about Recaros is that while the fabric might wear out the frames are just about bulletproof.

Corbeau cr1s in my 69....i love em but I'm in shape and have a 30inch waist...my friend with a 36inch waist says the bolstering pinches way too much...
