I now have a set of 1969-72 Factory Bucket seats(Thanks Jeff graemlins/thumbsup.gif )- They have good covers on them- The seat back sections are PERFECT- Seat Bottoms "Feel" worn out... I plan to take them to a shop and have the bottom covers removed and repair the bottom springs and replace the bottom Foam.

I am worried about them sitting up too high after being done... I had a set redone a few years ago with Foam from OPG and they raised it up way too much- You sat ONTOP of the seats instead of IN the seats if you know what i mean. I want to avoid that this time...

Is there a brand of seat foam i can get that doesn't have this problem, or is it just up to the installer to trim the center foam down till it sits right?

On the year one site, they actually tell you to trim them yourself.
