I was wondering if the steering wheel for 70 - 72 chevelle SS's were the same. I know the center shrouds are different but other then that are they the same?

There may have been two steering wheels available, at least on the 71. Some of the 71 SS models could get the NK4 sport steering wheel. This is the steering wheel that looks like the one they used to put on the Camaro, Vega and Monte with center cap horn button and 2 bars running to each side. Horn button could have SS or Chevy bow-tie insignia.

The other steering wheel, and I'm not sure which option code it is, just has the single bar across the steering wheel. SS models would have the SS insignia in middle of bar.

A 70 chevelle wheel is the same as a 69 Chevelle wheel. Course, the problem (cracks) in one is the same as the other. Might as well learn to epoxy. That's what I started doing. I have 3-4 wheels to work with.
