Just took posession of a 70 SS396 that is 90% complete on restoration. Does anbody know how the factory attached the interior door panel SS badges. The pieces I've got have 3 cast in posts on the back. I suspect it's a pem nut type deal?
If it's the same as the 69 emblems, it's a very small press-on type retainer. Sorry....don't know the correct term. redface.gif

Speed nut.
You may find something close at any well stocked hardware store.

It is more of a press on retainer rather than a nut.

Thanks guys, found mention of the items as "clips" in the Year One catalog. I'll assume thier those spring steel devices with the bent tabs for retaining the studs, something low profile so as not to create an issue with the door panel. Now on to the serious stuff, see you in another section to discuss shifters for this M20.
