I am familiar with the SS396 and the SS emblems used on 68 Chevelles and Camaros with standard deluxe steering wheel. I have also seen the shield emblem with 'Malibu' script and one with 'Super Sport', presumably for the Impala. Now I have one with the bowtie emblem on the shield. Does anyone know the specific application(s) for this item?

Patrick,
That's the one I'm looking for!
My last '68 300 Sport Coupe Deluxe had that wheel added as an option. My father purchased the car new off a dealer lot. It showed up on the invoice of the car as a Deluxe Steering wheel for like $4.15 if memory serves me right (I'll look again tonight).

My 68 Elco also has the deluxe steering wheel, but with the Malibu script in the middle. Does anyone know where to get a NOS or reproduction wheel? mine is beyond saving, lots of cracks and paint missing
