I'm putting a new carpet in my 1972 El Camino and I was wondering if it is correct to carpet the rear wall. Most pictures I have seen show an uncarpeted wall. Mine was carpeted but was not the orginal carpeting.

If you mean the wall under the window, no it was not carpeted. Only painted. RichF

Our '69 had a nice carpet job glued up behind the seats. Guess someone before me did the job. It even looked factory and gave the area a nice finished look. I'll be putting it back in when the repairs are done. Learn something new every day. El Caminos are a bit of a different beast.
