OK, I think this is an old subject ,but couldn't find anything in the archives.
I've got the astro ventalation emblem above
the glovebox, my kickpanels have 1 pull knob
on each side, but these pull knobs are in a little long "bezel" that the knob slides inside. The bezel is held in place by a trim screw on each end. The end of the cables go to behind the a/c vent balls & I think they
control fresh air w/o the a/c on. How does
this system work with "vent" on the main control panel above the radio? Thanks, Brian

I have the same setup, but not sure how its supposed to work, Would like to find out also.

The vent lets in "fresh air when the A/C is not on. It blows from the top vents & dash vents. When the A/C is ON, it's vents are controlled by vacuum. It closes the outside vents & recycles the air inside the car.
