Is a steering wheel for a '72 Monte Carlo identical to that of a '70 Chevelle? Or is the Monte wheel rubbery where the Chevelle wheel is hard?

The 70-72 Monte should be the same as Chevelle...except for the special SS versions.

Although I've seen one or two references to "soft" 72 Monte steering wheels, as far as I know none were made for that year.

Don No.

A 71-72 Monte Carlo wheel is the same as a 71-72 Chevelle, the 70 is not the same as a 71 or 72. I think this also applies to Nova's steering wheels.
