: Interior Paint too Glossy

Did a test run on a can of dark green interior paint for 70 from year one. The paint is laquer and is very glossy. It would be beautiful on the exterior but seems to me like it would be terrible on the dash(hard plastic part). I expected more of a satin finish. Maybe the dye would be better and use the paint for metal parts, although it still seems too glossy even for that. Did I possible get a bad can? Suggestions?

BTW: Ive tried to find someone to custom mix but haven't found anyone that will do it.

Thanks

go to a autobody supply shop they can mix the dash paint for plastic and vinyl dyes for the dash pad with different gloss shine i think the top dash pad should have some but minimal gloss in it like 15 - 20% and it increases as you work your way down the dash anymore up top and youll have a problem with sun glare
