The local speed shop say's a Holley blue pump will do the trick.
I have a 72 with a 502/502. Jeg's say's Holley doesn't make an electric pump for continuos (street) use. I see cars running around all the time on the street with Holley pumps hangin under the rear. Am I missing something ? I just need a pump.

I'm using a Carter 100 gph, 7 psig electric pump to feed by ZZ502/502. It is much quieter than the Holley Red electric pump I tried.

I ran a blue holley for years on the street with no problems.

I just got a Carter elec pump for my 502. Nice and quiet.
Ray,
I have the Holley blue pump on my 68 with 11:1 454 th400 3.55 gears. It eliminated my vapor lock problems. No problems so far with pump. (2300 miles on this setup)

Have you thought about using one of the big mechanical pumps made by Edlebrock or Carter? They make no noise at all, bolt in the stock location and pump more than enough fuel.

I've been told the Mallory 140 is the unit to use. $219 at my local speed shop.
