Just a quick question about the package shelf in my car. On the package shelf when I bought it, there was only the metal underneath, and then some carpet layed over it. Is this the way it's supposed to be, or is mine missing something? Thanks for any help.

The factory arrangement is a jute pad and cardboard shelf over it.
