: mini spare tire for 70 El Camino Rich70L Jan 13th, 99, 8:38 PM I've got a 70 El Camnio w/ 60x15 tire and wheels and I've got a 60x14 spare tire jammed behind the passenger seat. Does anyone know if one of those mini spare tires that new cars have would work on my 'L'. I only would need it to get me to someone that could fix the flat. Many others will fit but if you have a posi, you need one which matches the diameter of your road tires. 283v8 Jan 14th, 99, 7:49 AM If the diameter of the mini spare is significantly different and you don't want to wear your posi ,try this; - if you get a flat on the rear, switch a front tire to the rear (if they are the same size)and put the spare on the front - then drive carefully as with all mini spares. ------------------ | ||
